Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Eggplant Parm was a winner. Meatballs also great. Downed with a cold UC, can’t be beat!
Hot damn this place is a gem. Had the fried bologna sandwich with hot peppers, vodka riggies, mushroom stew & the meatballs. Absolutely lights out good. This is a real restaurant from a bygone era serving working class fare who doesn’t care what you think and it’s a beautiful.
Excellent food done like your grandma used to make!! Real ingredients, no shortcuts, amazing flavor like it was in the 1950s !! The roasted sweet and Long hots are my favorite side, with the Soft Italian bread and grated cheese!!! Love their bracciole, all homemade ingredients, the meatballs are very flavorful . The spaghetti and red sauce is the star of the show!! I dont like mushrooms but their stew is not overwhelmed with them. I definitely don't do tripe. That is too old school for my Italian taste!! I never had a bad meal there!!
Great old school bar, serving fantastic homestyle Italian food. Serving food starting at 9 AM on Tuesday and Saturday. Technically, this was my breakfast.
Is it Tuesday or is it Saturday... either one, then head over to Joe's, a classic Italian Restaurant and bar, with classic homemade dishes, and classic family style service! Ahh did I say Classic? Well I mean classic food made just how I remember grandma made it, that's what I mean by "Classic"! Oh and did i say takeout well that is always an option too. Enjoy!
